Orthopaedic
Composition : Esomeprazole 40mg + Levosulpiride 75mg
Esomeprazole : A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production. This creates a less acidic environment in the stomach, which helps relieve symptoms of GERD like heartburn and acid reflux and promotes healing of peptic ulcers.
Levosulpiride : A prokinetic agent that works differently than Domperidone, which is sometimes used in similar combinations. Levosulpiride works by:
Increasing the tone and contractions of the stomach muscles, helping to move food through the digestive system more efficiently.
Slightly increasing the pressure in the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), the muscular valve between the esophagus and stomach. This can help prevent stomach acid from flowing back up into the esophagus.
