Composition : Artemether 80mg + Lumefantrine 480mg INDICATIONS Severe Malaria Drug resistant P. falcipharum Uncomplicated Falcipharum Artemether : An Artemisinin derivative, a fast-acting antimalarial medication. It works by disrupting the parasite's life cycle within the red blood cells, ultimately killing the malaria parasite. Lumefantrine : A slower-acting antimalarial medication that works by preventing the malaria parasite from maturing and multiplying within the red blood cells. It also helps clear remaining parasites after the initial attack by Artemether.
